FOSS4G is the acronym for Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial. It is the OSGeo Foundation global and annual gathering since its inception in 2004.
FOSS4G-Europe is the European edition of FOSS4G.
This is the official app for the second edition of the event "FOSS4G-Europe Conference", held at Politecnico di Milano in Como, Italy, from July 15th to 17th, 2015.
The Conference aims to bring together FOSS4G users and developers worldwide and foster closer interactions with and amongst European communities in order to share ideas for improving geodata, software and applications openness.
Within the app, you will find the updated program, with speakers, sponsors, agenda, link to materials and much more.
You can select your preferred events and talks, and if you use the app during the event with your Bluetooth activated, you are able to get notifications based on your position inside the conference venue, thanks to beacons distributed in the rooms.
